British woman finds tracking device in Spain

bmwA tracking device is reported to have been found in the car of a British woman who is suing the police in the UK.

According to the German newspaper Die Tageszeitung, the device was wrapped in tape and found near a wheel of her car while she was in Spain.

The woman, known as Lily, claims she was deceived into a relationship which continued for two years with Mark Kennedy who purported to be an environmental protestor but who was, in fact, an undercover police man.

She is part of a group of women taking legal action against the police for the emotional trauma suffered as a result of intimate relationships with men who were later exposed as spies.

The device was reported to have been detected while Lily was attending a conference on surveillance and censorship which was being held in Spain.

It is not known who placed the tracking mechanism in her car and she has reported the matter to the police.

Bit pointless reporting the matter to the police as they were most likely responsible for placing the device there in the first place. ;-)
