For our next AMIGOS’ CONCERTS on April 9th and 11th 2024, we are very happy to announce a young Italian pianist LEONARDO PIERDOMENICO who will come to Portugal for the second time to play for the AMIGOS DE MÚSICA.
On Tuesday April 9th, LEONARDO PIERDOMENICO will proposes a Homage to Italy with works by Scarlatti, Clementi, Respighi , Beethoven and Chopin, while on Thursday April 11th, he plays works by L. van Beethoven and Frédéric Chopin. For more programme details, please see www.amigosdemusica.org
Early on Leonardo PIERDOMENICO won the first prize at the 2011 "Premio Venezia" held in "La Fenice" Opera House and was a semifinalist at the 2016 "Queen Elisabeth" International Piano Competition in Bruxelles. Winner of the “Raymond E. Buck” Award at the 2017 “Van Cliburn” International Competition in Fort Worth, Texas, Leonardo has since performed with many prominent orchestras and solo recitals have brought him to major venues worldwide.

All concerts will take place in the Auditorium of OS AGOSTOS near Santa Bárbara de Nexe. Doors will open at 6.00pm and the concert will begin at 7.00pm.! Wine, fruit juices and canapés will be available for self-service before the concert.

New Membership applications will be considered in July, at the end of the present concert season. In the meantime everybody is welcome to attend concerts after making the respective reservations!
