Svetlana Bakushina Fusion Project is delighted to announce the much-anticipated release of their latest album and Algarve Tour, "Algarvia."
This musical venture seamlessly weaves together elements of jazz, classical, ethnic, and progressive rock, crafting original compositions that blend rhythmic and harmonic complexity with improvisation. At the heart of the project is Svetlana Bakushina, a pianist and a filmmaker. Joining her are accomplished musicians Seibas Gamboa, distinguished as the principal cellist, and the skilled drummer Jorge Carrilho. Together, they form a cohesive unit that delivers a distinctive sound of the band.
Featured guests include the renowned soprano Michele Tomaz, saxophonist Daniel Marques, and video artist Anastasia Maystrenko. Prepare to be enchanted by a musical experience infused with humor and mesmerizing visuals. "Algarvia" was meticulously crafted at the Monserra Studio in Monchique, with the expert touch of musical producer Carlos Rufo Martins, who also serves as the project's live sound engineer.
