"Christians face elimination by Isis in Middle East" says archbishop

An Islamic State “apocalypse” has left Christianity facing elimination in the very region where the faith was born two millennia ago, according to the archbishop.

Chairman of Banif - the sale to Santander is "disastrous"

Peruvian Boeing makes emergency landing at Faro airport

airplaneAn aeroplane owned by the Peruvian airline LAN made an emergency landing in Faro on Thursday at around noon after its captain had contacted air traffic control to report a total engine failure.

Luckily the Boeing 763 has more than one engine and the flight carrying 244 passengers between the Peruvian capital Lima, and Madrid, landed without incident.
