A classic car rally will take place next Sunday, November 18th, starting in Armação de Pêra and ending up in Messines.
1st Tour of Classic Vehicles in the Silves municipality has been organised by the Classical Vehicles Club for the Barlavento which expects around the owners of around 100 old cars to take part.
The day will start at 9:30 am, in Armação de Pêra by the old mini-golf area on the seafront, the travelling to all the parish Councils in the municipality, expect in Silves where the rally will pause by the municipal swimming pools before continuing to S. Bartolomeu de Messines.
According to the organisers, the objective is to show off the Silves Council area to the classic vehicle enthusiasts while giving participants and by-standers, "a memorable experience for Silves locals and visitors.”
