Rain returned to the Algarve on Friday afternoon and is set to continue all weekend - alongside thunderstorms.
The weather service tries to put a positive spin on things by saying the temperature will remain mild but admitted that rain, showers and thunderstroms are expected across the south of the country this weekend and into next week.
Saturday and Sunday will be wet and Monday also will be blessed with showers.
On Tuesday, the forecast is for grey, depressing cloud but no rain. Fear not, it will be wet on Wednesday and Thursday.
The daytime temperatures at least will be above 20ºC for the next few days but venturing out without a brolly this weekend will represent hope over experience.
