Madrugada, the charitable association which provides care and support for people affected by life limiting illness, is on the move.
Luz-based Madrugada is pleased to announce it will move to a new Support Centre in the town later this year. The commercial space originally used by the Ocean Club Reception at Palm Bay Resort has been acquired and will be redeveloped.
The Madrugada Support Centre will be at ground floor level with ample parking and only a short walk from the Madrugada charity shops. The new location means that services can be expanded to help more people in the community. Counselling, therapeutic and creative activities, complementary therapies, advice and education will all be available at the Centre for those affected by life limiting illness. These complement Madrugada’s free home based ‘end of life’ palliative nursing care service.
Renovation works need to be carried out to make the new Support Centre an efficient and welcoming space, so your help could make all the difference. If you have some experience in the building, plumbing or painting and would be happy to give your time we would love to hear from you. Alternatively you could sponsor part of the work or equipment.
