The foreign residents’ Association afpop, held its 30th Annual General Meeting on Saturday march 24th, at the hotel Jardim do Vau in Portimão.
The meeting was attended by 30 Members, who had the opportunity to hear the results from the previous year and development plans for 2018 and beyond, when the Annual Business Plan was presented after the formal business was completed.
Members also voted on those council members standing for election.
At the end of the business, Council President Chris Ireland presented long service gifts to Irene and Erwin Mohr, who have edited and translated the Association’s UPDATE magazine for twenty years, to Maria Silva, the Association’s Finance Manager who has also worked for the Association for twenty years and to the CEO Michael Reeve on his 15th anniversary with afpop.
