British magazine recommends Portugal as the third best country to invest in

Portugal is the third best country in the world in which to invest in a second home, after Spain and France, according to readers of the British magazine ‘A Place in the Sun’.
After Spain and France, Portugal is ahead of Italy, the United States, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, the Caribbean, and Malta in tenth place.
The reasons cited by readers are, among others, the existence of idyllic places in the country, the sun, the beach, golf courses and the attractive prices of houses.
The most popularl regions within Portugal for a second home were the coastal zone from Faro to Lagos, the Alentejo's Costa Azul and the Silver Coast.
