EDP launches a microgeneration campaign

The EDP has launched a campaign of microgeneration solar photovoltaic solutions, under the motto EDP Micro: ‘A gift from the Sun’. All interested customers from today may take up an EDP microgeneration solar photovoltaic system package and, if they do so by the end of the year, will receive a free iPad 2.
The Microgeneration system is where the energy is produced by the consumer, individual or company, using small-scale equipment, such as photovoltaic solar panels. The energy produced can be sold to the national grid at the contracted rate.
According to the EDP the customer benefits from advantages such as: validation of the technical conditions of the site, EDP branded panels, remote monitoring of electricity production and consumption 24 hours a day, a comprehensive insurance policy and special financing packages.
