Active Q Gym Opens in Quinta do Lago

Active Q Gym opened its doors in Quinta do Lago as another step in the resort´s commitment to positive lifestyle enhancement. A concept conceived in 2010 by Graham Morgan, the Algarve’s most experienced Personal Trainer and Fitness Consultant, Active Q Encourages exercise and an active lifestyle in the fantastic climate and stunning scenery of Quinta do Lago and the Ria Formosa nature reserve.
Guests and residents can enjoy the freedom of nature turning exercise exercise into pleasure.
Developing from the success of this program, Active Q has now opened the ultimate fitness and lifestyle gym in the Algarve. Located in the new development at roundabout 2 in Quinta do Lago, the original concept of Active Q has been optimally merged with the latest innovations in exercise and fitness. Floor to ceiling windows provide our guests with an outdoor experience that combined with a sophisticated air management system created the ultimate conditions for exercising.
All exercise equipment has been supplied by the brand leaders in the fitness industry, using the latest research, innovation and design to ensure maximum satisfaction and results according to each client's needs and objectives.
Staying close to the original Active Q concept, the gym also provides users with the opportunity to exercise amongst nature. A large outdoor studio will host a program of classes and activities as well as individual or group training sessions.
Another first at Active Q are the Elliptigo bikes. They are the first available in Portugal and enable enthusiasts of cross training elliptical gym machines to get out of the gym on to the open road.
