The Impossible is Possible in Your BusinessWe all know how important the Internet is to businesses everywhere. Most consumers and businesses are online and, with more than 5 billion people in the world owNing a mobile phone, a huge number of your potential purchasers effectively have a computer in their pocket.

Even if you don’t sell online, and most businesses don’t, 89% of consumers regularly search online before buying through a traditional outlet.
So being highly visible online is vital.

There is a problem however.  I often read, and get told, that it takes a lot of effort and luck to get on Page One of Google, and this is essential because few of us search beyond page one.

The reality is that it is actually comparatively easy to get on Page One of Google as I can demonstrate.

A few weeks ago I launched a new blog about MicroBrewery Marketing.  It is a niche area but there is still a lot of competition to get on page one of any search engine.  To be honest my blog was an experiment to judge the amount of interest and although I did the basics I didn’t do anything really special.
Having posted just three posts on the site imagine my surprise when I had a call from a major manufacturer asking if I could help them market their product into the microbrewery market.
Apparently they had found me on Page One of Google.

The detailed method I used to get found I am going to reveal in a marketing workshop I’m running at the Holiday Inn in Armacoa de Pera June 22nd, but suffice it to say I focused on the site’s content, page descriptions, appropriate keywords, page titles, naming all photographs on the website and a few other key essentials.

The thing is, everything I did is very basic, simple stuff.  It isn’t technical; you don’t need to be a web designer to do this. Provided you can type, cut and paste you can achieve this as well.

The real secret is that, although this is very simple, 99.9% of your competitors either don’t understand it  ….. or aren’t doing it.
