Activity Algarve Bike Rides raise thousands!
- Created on Monday, 14 May 2012 08:21

An amazing weekend of hot weather and the highlight of the weekend was the ACCA Charity bike ride on Sunday hosted at the new Conrad hotel in Quinta do Lago. We had around 60 riders on three rides, 25km, 50km and 75km and early indications are that we have raised over €5000, but quite a lot of money still has to be collected, so hopefully we will be well over €6000 eventually!
A big thank you to all of the riders who turned up on the day as the heat made riding quite tough at times, and thanks also to the Hilton/Conrad group for their generous hosting. This photo shows the 75km group en route !

We have plenty more bike ride special events scheduled for later in the year so please do keep reading these announcements, and let me know if you have any friends who you think would like to join us.
