Pauline Binnie, Golf Operations Manager at Espiche Golf, near Lagos, had the great pleasure of presenting a cheque for the value of €4,663 to the Volunteer Firefighters Charity.
The event took place at Espiche Golf on the 18th July and saw a field of 80 golfers tee off in a Shotgun Start ,and conclude with players and guests enjoying a barbeque on the terraces of the magnificent new clubhouse.
Pauline commented, "the idea for the event came from Chris Drummey and Bryan Chadbourn, two local residents and they should be congratulated on such a great cause and idea. Espiche Golf was proud to support the idea and host the event and we are delighted we could play a small part in raising the amount of money donated."
Events at Espiche Golf are proving very popular at present, including Charity Golf events, Corporate Golf events, but also in hosting lunches, parties and even weddings.
